Insurance and Finance
Dr. Bar-Chama is directly in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield,
Empire, Oxford Freedom, New York Hotel Trades, and United Healthcare plans. Our
lab is in-network with Oxford Freedom, New York Hotel Trades, the Empire
Plan, and United Healthcare. If we are not in-network with your
plan, our
finance department will work with you and your insurance company to
ensure that you attain the best medical care and most comprehensive
coverage possible.
Please note that some tests will be sent to outside labs, which will bill you directly. If you have any questions regarding the costs of these tests and whether they are covered by your insurance plan,
consult your insurance company. Medical testing can be expensive. Before
ordering a test, please be sure that either your insurance will cover at the
testing facility being used, or that you are prepared to cover the cost. Payment for these tests is the responsibility of the patient.
